Description
Increase your fire power of your shotgun with one of our magazine extension kit. These kits are constructed of solid steel and come with 1 Magazine Extension – (6,7,8, 9 or 10 shot), 1 Base Clamp (sling swivel loop pictured is no longer included), 1 High Visibility Shell Follower, and spring.
For guns made before about 1987 you might have a 20ga gun made on a 12ga receiver. If your magazine tube will take a 12ga shell then you have one of the older guns that needs the 12ga extension.
Using the 7 shot extension as an example shotgun capacity for a magazine extension is figured 1 round in the chamber and 6 rounds of 2 3/4 inch shells in the magazine tube. The new model Remington 870/1100/1187 shotguns have dimples that will have to be drilled out with 3/16 drill bit before the spring will extend up into the magazine extension. The older model Remington 870/1100/1187/VersaMax will readily accept our extensions without any alterations. Find complete instructions in our FAQ section.
