This 5-round box of Fiocchi 12-gauge segmented steel slug cartridges features a 1 oz. steel slug loaded into a 2 ¾”shell casing. These steel slugs feature a segmented, zinc plated design that is inserted into a plastic wad, making for tighter patterns, while also protecting the barrel of the shotgun. Capable of a muzzle velocity of 1630 FPS, they are great hunting rounds for areas where lead is prohibited and are ideal for boar and deer.
It should be noted, however, that these rounds are specifically designed for shotguns with fully rifled barrels and should not be used in weapons featuring a smooth bore or rifled choke.
